Onto the Birthday boy.....
The week prior to Gage's birthday on 7-5, we invited a few of his playmates over for a few hours of outdoor fun. It turned out to be super windy that day (Welcome to prairie-ville WI) and we had to scratch the idea of the bonfire and roasting our hotdogs over it!
Gage wanted a Scooby Doo cake and Walmart has the best cake and icing in the whole wide world (according to mommy) so we ordered up what appeared to be an "M" for Mystery Machine? We're still confused, but it was sure good!!!
Birthday morning. Gage received a Leapster2 and some games from us this year, in the hopes that it would be a fun "Big Boy" toy to play with when mom and dad get busy with the babies, for car rides, etc. He also received a ton of Hot Wheels stuff such as new cars and tracks. Lots of puzzles, a new book and nursery rhyme CD.......he was so fun to watch open his gifts, as he wanted to take each and every one out of the package and play with it before opening any other gifts. VERY different from the past two years when it was all about ripping the paper!

On Gage's actual birthday, we had another party with just grandma's and grandpa's and aunts and uncles (minus Auntie Katie and Uncle Johnny and minus Uncle Mike and Aunt Arianne this year) and cousins (minus baby Brian). We had a John Deere tractor cake from Dairy Queen (could mama be pregnant and doing the cake ordering this year??)
Gage showing me a new toy and getting a picture of us on the couch!!!!

hope all is well with you and all your boys! :)
Love the pictures. the "M" looks like it was supposed to be a "3" for his third birthday!
He looks so grown up!!
What a cutie, Jill. So tall and lean; or is it just his blue PJ's in that one photo?
Hope all is going well for you guys!
