It may be some comfort to know that these toddlers don't really want to drive us crazy, they just want to understand how we work.

Upgrade

Last year around Mother's Day weekend, we gave Gage a small ATV to start the summer off with. Being a July birthday, we wanted him to get use out of it, but know that if he gets it for Christmas, it's going to be hard to not play with it until the weather gets warmer...and if we wait until July, summer seems half over. You get the picture.

Well, this year, we "upgraded" to a Gator. These things run $300+ in the stores or online brand new. Well, not if you live in Wisconny!!!! There is a flea market that has been in business for 19 years up in St. Croix Falls, running every weekend. The family that runs it also does a huge sale at a small town (okay, it's not even a town, it's a township!) in the back of a bar (yes, you read that correctly) the last weekend in April.
We purchased this brand new for $125! They had EVERYTHING you could imagine in terms of battery operated (kids) toys. Jeeps, Gators, child-size (not toddler size as seen below) ATV's, Barbie cars, etc. Totally worth it!

These were taken in May of 2008, when the ATV was the perfect size!

This was the new toy for 2009!

Heck, we have two more of these little men coming alone. I'm sure all of our outdoor toys will get plenty of use!

So much for American Girl Dolls and Barbie houses, huh Jill?? (Sigh)
